Re-live the September Event!

We hosted our last 3-day event of 2008 on September 12th. 13th and 14th.

97 different ladies joined us for 56 hours of scrapbooking. We had our regulars, our members, dozens of croppers new to our event and even a famous couple.

Here are the Highlights

Our Cropper of the Weekend was Allison E.  She arrived Friday morning at 9am and cropped straight thru to 9:30am Saturday morning. She took a 5 hour nap, returned at 2pm, got right back to work, and we toddled off to bed Sunday morning at 5am.  She beat me downstairs 4 hours later and cropped for the rest of the event. 56 total hours minus 9 hours of rest = 45 hours of scrapbooking.  Now that's dedication... or insanity - you decide! All I can say is her Wedding Album is to die for!

Our Layout Contest Winner was Jo W who, through some amazing work, really showed us how much she loves her 4 legged friends!

Our Member of the Weekend was a tie.  Leslie M. won The Big Bite and the Xyron 500 (2 of the 3 Member Prizes) and Connie H won a regular door prize 3 days in a row.

Friday night we gave away over 30 door prizes, Saturday we did it again and Sunday made it a grand total of 110 prizes for the whole weekend! Sorry Erica, there's always next year.

Congratulations to all our winners, and a big SHOUT OUT to our Grand Prize Winner, Julie O who went home with a Brand New Cricut Expression!

Remember that famous couple we mentioned? It was Valerie from Creative Crops and her partner in crime Diane! They took this weekend as an opportunity to scrapbook together for the first time in 4 years!  Ask them to show you their Camping Albums the next time you see them.

And not that it's been officially announced....but you might want to keep the last weekend in January clear for a trip to Shepherdstown, WVA...you might just see the Crops Plus hostesses there...
